For a real integrated growth of a child, his/her physical self must be systematically developed. Games help to build a strong character and teach the importance of discipline in life.
Montessori has a specially designed curriculum for the same to suit the needs of the different age groups. In the pre-primary classes, the emphasis is laid upon the development of gross motor skills, hygiene, balance and overcoming physical fears and hesitations. In the primary and middle grades, the focus shifts to increasing the body stamina and flexibility and the pupils are introduced to the rules of various games.
Outdoor Games: Sports facilities at school include a basketball court, a football field, badminton court. Yoga is also taught to the students to develop mental strength and flexibility of the body.
